COVER LETTER
With more than 8 years of experience as a Virtual Assistant, I have developed strong expertise in search engine optimization (SEO), content optimization, and website management. My experience includes performing keyword research, creating and editing SEO content, optimizing on-page elements, improving website structure, and implementing strategies designed to increase search engine visibility and organic traffic.
As a Freelance SEO Specialist in the Philippines, I combine hands-on experience with formal SEO and web development training to create practical optimization strategies aligned with business goals. My background covers essential SEO practices such as keyword mapping, search intent analysis, on-page optimization, content optimization, internal linking, meta title and meta description optimization, and website performance improvements.
I have completed courses in SEO and web development, strengthening my understanding of search engine algorithms, website architecture, technical SEO fundamentals, and the factors that influence search engine rankings. This combination of practical experience and specialized training allows me to approach SEO from both a content and technical perspective.
My goal is to help businesses establish a stronger online presence through SEO strategies that improve keyword rankings, attract qualified organic traffic, strengthen website visibility, and support sustainable long-term growth.
EXPERIENCE
For over 8 years as a virtual assistant, I have enhanced my SEO knowledge through the different companies I’ve worked with. From keyword research to content uploading, writing, and optimization, I’ve sharpened my SEO skills through hands-on experiences.
FLOWER BAR CEBU
I performed SEO tasks such as on-page, off-page, and technical SEO. I provided reports every two weeks covering keyword rankings, organic traffic, backlink performance, technical issues, on-page optimization progress, and other key SEO metrics. I also monitored website performance, identified areas for improvement, and implemented strategies to improve search visibility and organic traffic.
HUB VIRTUAL ASSIST
I served as the senior copywriter, creating content briefs and sprint plans outlining article structure, including headings, tables, and key topics, before assigning them to our content writers.
My responsibilities also included reviewing every submitted article to ensure it met our quality standards. I evaluated readability, content flow, keyword optimization, and the proper placement of target keywords throughout the article and in the meta title and meta description. Additionally, I ensured that compelling calls to action (CTAs) were strategically placed within the meta description and the article to encourage user engagement and conversions.
GRAYLING AGENCY
As the company’s social media manager, I managed our clients’ Facebook and Instagram pages. I was responsible for creating content for each client and scheduling when to post each piece.
Part of my tasks was to respond to customers’ queries in a timely manner and to inform our clients of any special requests or concerns. I was also creating templates for responses to FAQs our customers were asking, which other SSMs used.
BE THE HERO STUDIOS
While researching long-tail keywords related to our clients’ niches, I helped determine which titles would work best for their YouTube videos. Once the videos were published, I downloaded the transcriptions, proofread them to remove unnecessary sentences, and published the finalized versions on our clients’ websites.

Aside from the experience and knowledge I can offer your company as an SEO virtual assistant, I always work with integrity, adapt quickly to new environments, and work well as part of a team.
ESSENTIAL SEO TOOLS I USE
I’ve been in different companies with different approaches to SEO. But all of the companies I’ve worked with always have the same goals in leveraging the tools and processes they have. From keyword research, on-page and content optimization, citations and backlinking, to technical SEO, I’ve used most of the trusted tools and processes that bring results.
SEMRUSH
I've used SEMrush in different ways, but I particularly rely on it for keyword research. I use it to identify the right keywords to target, understand search intent, and create content that aligns with what users are searching for.
AHREFS
I've used Ahrefs to research backlink opportunities, evaluate referring domains, and identify websites that are relevant for potential link-building campaigns.
UBBERSUGGEST
Ubersuggest is another tool I use for SEO purposes. Similar to SEMrush and Ahrefs, I've used it for keyword research, identifying search intent and search volume, and finding backlinking opportunities.
GOOGLE ANALYTICS
Google Analytics is a core part of my SEO workflow — it connects optimization efforts to real business outcomes, not just rankings. I use it to track organic traffic trends, monitor user behavior, and identify which pages are converting versus underperforming. Paired with Search Console, it gives me the full picture from click to conversion and helps validate whether changes are actually moving the needle.
GOOGLE SEARCH CONSOLE
Google Search Console is my go-to for understanding exactly how a site performs in search — straight from the source. I use it to monitor keyword rankings, click-through rates, and impressions, and to spot opportunities where a page is ranking well but not getting clicks. It's also essential for technical health: catching indexing issues, crawl errors, mobile usability problems, and Core Web Vitals data before they hurt performance. I regularly check it alongside Google Analytics to connect search visibility with actual on-site behavior and conversions.
SCREAMING FROG
Screaming Frog is my primary tool for technical SEO audits — it lets me crawl a site the way search engines do and catch issues that aren't always visible on the surface. I use it to find broken links, duplicate content, missing meta tags, redirect chains, and crawlability issues across large sites quickly. It's especially useful for auditing site structure, checking internal linking, and pulling data at scale before making optimization recommendations. I typically run it early in an audit to get a full technical snapshot before diving into on-page or content-level fixes.
